SCRIPTURES:
Genesis 32
27   The man asked him, "What is your name?" "Jacob," he answered.
Genesis 27
14   So he went and got them and brought them to his mother, and she prepared some tasty food, just the way his father liked it.
15   Then Rebekah took the best clothes of Esau her older son, which she had in the house, and put them on her younger son Jacob.

John 4
15   The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."
16   He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back."
17   "I have no husband," she replied. Jesus said to her, "You are right when you say you have no husband.

We read in the above mentioned verses, and we meet here with Jacob in Gen 32:27 who was coming from his uncle, Laban, where he had been living. If you know thebackground of this story , you will remember that Jacob had stolen Esau's blessingand ran away.

Something interesting happens here, God asks him "Who are you?" . Do you know why God asked that question? He asked it because 20 years before that, Jacob had said "I am Esau"
Genesis 27
19   Jacob said to his father, "I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me. Please sit up and eat some of my game so that you may give me your blessing."

God asked Jacob whom he was because he wanted him to come out in the open and be Jacob again.(remember; for 20 years he had been confined in the jacket of Esau)

This tell us that God blesses originals not duplicates. If you want fulfilment and satisfaction in life you have tobe yourself. Notice that after admitting that he was Jacob, God blessed Jacob.

If you want God to bless you, remain what he has made you to be. The problem in our generation is lack of fulfilment and satisfaction. The reason for this being that people want to change themselves and be some other people. Let me tell you this, FALSE IDENTITY WILL CAUSE YOU TO LIVE IN DISSATISFACTION ALL YOUR LIFE!

When God made you, he made you unique in such a way that there is something that can be done by you and only you can do it.
Remember the story of Juda and his daughter in law
Genesis 38
13   When Tamar was told, "Your father-in-law is on his way to Timnah to shear his sheep,"
14   she took off her widow's clothes, covered herself with a veil to disguise herself, and then sat down at the entrance to Enaim, which is on the road to Timnah. For she saw that, though Shelah had now grown up, she had not been given to him as his wife.
15   When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face.
Genesis 38
27   When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb.
If you disguise yourself you may end up being in an unpleasant situation.
When Jesus met the Samaritan woman, John 4: 15-17 and he said go and fetch your husband. The woman said "I don't have one" Jesus told her that she was right and it was after that ,that her life was never the same again. Why? She had told Jesus about her real being.

DON'T GO ARROUND IMITATING PEOPLE, BE YOURSELF AND "LET GOD BE TRUE TO YOU AND EVERY MAN A LIAR"
Romans 3
4   Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge."
[1]

God knew you before you were born, while you were still being formed in the deep, he wrote your days. Do not be afraid of life. Go back to him and he will give you your purpose in this life. Fulfilment will come as a result.

BE BLESSED!
